National backgammon championship
Backgammon sets - timely high scale production
- The project was to organize in all the Romanian pubs and restaurants selling the Ciucas beer, a nationwide backgammon championship with prizes.
- It is understood that the game could not have been played with just any backgammon set.
- So we were asked to produce personalized backgammon sets to supply 2-3 sets on each location. The personalization was printed on the interior of the backgammon board and laser engraved on the outside. For this job we used poplar plywood CNC folded.
- Four weeks later in more than 1500 locations nationwide there were at least 2-3 backgammon sets produced by us. Also , the locations were supplied with score boards made from a log cut frame with “Ciucas” logo printed directly on.
- Extra – we even personalized the playing pieces with customer’s logo
- This project involved :

- Identity – tying the popular beer brand Ciucas with the popular game of backgammon
